Sorry, I forget … Sorry, I forget that when you reply to someone, usually the comment doesn´t appear next to the one you are replying to…I was commenting on Zealless’ comment, don´t think it should have thumbs down.
Why the thumbs down … Why the thumbs down to this comment? Actually think he´s right. It´s not the same to drive the Prius to the “top of its potential” than to drive the M3 at a “low speed” and without effort, as seen on the video. It´s like a normal person trying to race 100mts. against an “olympic record holder” 100mts. racer. The normal folk would exert himself and use much more “fuel” than the pro-racer, who would only have to keep up with him (and much less “fuel” used). Prius is a transport, not a racer.
yup. small engines … yup. small engines driven hard will eat a load of fuel. a colleague of mine got 16L/100 km/h from a carburetor fed 1.4L Renault 12 clone.
I think it has to … I think it has to do with cost and practicality. Hybrids don’t get better millage then diesels so their isn’t much point. Diesel cars in the states aren’t all that popular compared to Hybrids and their are extra taxes involved I believe, not to mention their were tax rebates and carpool lane stickers given out to hybrid owners so more people would drive them.
I get about 27 combined mpg in my 07 GTI, 32 if I drive passively, and it’s worth it to me for the times I get to play on winding roads.
Thats right you … Thats right you have a theory, i’ve driven priuses, and i’ve gotten feedback from the owners, they all get an average of 50 plus mpgs
like i said i dont like them but they do what they have been ment to do
Wow, sorry almighty … Wow, sorry almighty Tomiltorino, i will never make a mistake again, even i i have seen articles and tv shows to support me theory
bullshit if you … bullshit if you learn how to drive a prius you will get over 50 even in the highway i dont like the prius but i have to admit it serves its purpose and i make money selling them
thats so not true … thats so not true if you look at the city and highway mpg ratings, a hybrid will get great city mpgs and lower then average highway because it can’t use its batteries above, um i think 40 miles an hour, and above that it is just hailing hundreds of extra pounds in the trunk
Yes I suppose he … Yes I suppose he makes a few points. Specifically the points about the Prius being more environmentally hazardous to make, & that it isn’t what you drive but how you drive.

i hate prius..but …

Why aren’t hybrids …
Why aren’t hybrids more popular in Europe? Maybe diesel is better?
in the science …
in the science world a theory is incredible powerful, but if i wanted the best of both worlds i would drive a super bike
Thats right you …

the test was not …
the test was not the most accurate but clarkson is right…..its not what you drive….its how you drive it!
u are not suppose …
u are not suppose to race a prius … u suppose to acc to cruise speed and let it roll …
Wow, sorry almighty …

Wow….M3 saves …
Wow….M3 saves more gas than Prius
load of crap, how …
load of crap, how often do you drive constantly with not stops? test it in a real world situation
Yes I suppose he …

And what point is …
And what point is that?
Brilliant!
I …
Brilliant!
I have been arguing Clarkson’s point for years.
Nice work guys!
