Mar. 28 – Increased fuel costs, extreme weather, and changing diets cause food prices to soar around the globe. In the U.S., some American consumers are paying double or more for their bread.

If an American’s food bill goes up $85 per month they grumble. In a LOT of the world the family income is less that $85 per month… North America and Western Europe really shouldn’t feel guilty, but they’d better “get a clue” before it’s too late!

lol…. she was probably talking about the rest of the world. places like Hati, Egypt, bangladesh, and other poor countries the cost of basic foods have gone up 40-50%…. it just hasn’t hit the US that hard yet

I think its obvious that if we don’t stop wasteful habits and improper management of resources things are going to get worst.

btw. It’s not only America. In Europe the prices are increasing quickly. Thanks to stretching of Europes agrarian legislations, it was not too extreme.
