Who is the better Olympian: Kobe or Phelps?
Kobe: rape charges (civil case he had to pay $$$$ to make it go away…), poor teammate, demands trades, ran Shaq out of LA – Shaq who really won the championships for LA
Phelps: Olympic god – best ever. rape charges = 0, doesn’t demand trades, IS a GOOD teammate and loves Shaq

phelps did get busted for DUI when he was like 19. Kobe is in a team sport so you can't compare.
Your wrong dude below me, your still competing by yourself and relays are only 1/4 of his events. Kobe is playing on a team 5 of five everytime, can't compare.
You must not understand the questioners sarcasm. A fair comparison would Compare Phelps to Carl Lewis, Mark Spitz, Ian Thorpe or even tiger woods. Swimming is not a team sport like basketball, football. Your still out there by yourself. Water Polo is a team sport. Obviously no nothing about basketball.

Did you see his routine each day? I don't see Kobe swimming 2400 meters or whatever the equivalent to that would be.
They are both good at what they do but Phelps is definitely who I would want my kids resembling.

I was on many a relays and even we cheered for our teammates. Your comment makes no sense!! Swimming is much an individual sport as it is a team sport.
