oh poor you, you …
oh poor you, you have to plug it in at night…..haha

The CEO is a huge …
The CEO is a huge Nerd.
DAMN!!!! look at …
!!!! look at the gas prices! it is almost 5 bucks where i live
Oil companies would …
Oil companies would pay millions to hold this technology back as they did many many times in the past!
So what about 125 …
So what about 125 mile – 250 mile range battery packs ? you kind of skipped over that point i made . The charging station doesn’t even have to be at a gas station it could be in parking lots when you go shopping or go to work or even along side parallel parking spaces like parking meters . Thats not even including the 5 min fast charge that phoenix motors has with 125 mile range.
Wow, I love how it …
Wow, I love how it starts up, so quiet. Really cool.
If the battery …
If the battery charge is only good for 40 miles then that would mean spending 10-15 minutes at the gas station 2-3 times a week at least.
10 -15 minute fast …
10 -15 minute fast charge system thats already out on the market all a gas station would have to do is get an electrician to install one and is most likely going to cost way less than a gas pump and fuel deliveries
yeah and the toyoa …
yeah and the toyoa rav 4 ev has 125 mile range its way bigger than the ev1 besides gm developed the full size suburban hybrid in the mid 90′sbut never put it into production to turn a profit on it
EV1 is a 2 seater …
EV1 is a 2 seater sub compact car this thing is an SUV… Yeah the EV1 weighs what…? No where near the weight of this thing.
How are people …
How are people going to charge the car at night who live in condos and their parking space is far from the condo or they have to park on the street?
Thats not a catch I …
Thats not a catch I WANT TO BE ABLE TO PLG IN MY CAR but the 40 mile range wont work for me why doesnt GM just put a 250 mile range battery pack in it you know the battery pack that was in the EV-1
People in canada …
People in canada have been plugging their cars in for decades during the winter.
Why?
Because if you don’t plug in the engine won’t start. Too cold out.
So i don’t think canadians would care if they had to plug their cars in every day.
So yeah, people who say “i am wary about plugging my car in” don’t know what they are talking about.
I can’t believe that dumb would even say that.
he rolled right …
he rolled right over the grass. -_-
It sounds exactly …
It sounds exactly like the EV1 at :40-:44 …. D: Good memories….
I hope they get it …
I hope they get it on the market soon .. i would invest in it right away.
“Some people are …
“Some people are sort of wary about whether they had to plug their car in”
Are you people freaking crazy? People are wary about having to buy gas, not about having to plug their car in at home. I feel like I’m in the twilight zone, bizarro world or something…
Plugging the car in is the whole idea. It’s not a “catch” and people aren’t “wary” about it.
“There is a catch, …
“There is a catch, it plugs in” Come on Gregg, that’s not the catch. The catch is that the big automakers refuse to make an electric only vehicle.
“The car of the …
“The car of the future” lol. The car of the future will not use gasoline at all.
“One drawback, the prototype needs to be plugged in and charged every night” WTF? This dude works for CNN? That’s not a drawback Gregg, wake up.
There is a 150 MPG …
There is a 150 MPG car, made by German Company LOREMO, currently in production for release and sale in 2009. It is a NON-HYBRID, 2-cylinder Turbo Diesel. Zero to 60 in 10 Seconds, top speed of 140 MPH. European cost will be $15,000. Euros, or about $22,000. dollars.
Way to go guys you …
Way to go guys you are the future
WTF?! How is it …
WTF?! How is it that these oridinary people have the ability to convet regular vehicles into 100+mpg vehicles and the auto industries can’t.
