I bought this quad for my son last Christmas. It is a Sunl by Hanma in China. This is his first quad, and I am pretty impressed with the quality overall, and very impressed with the low cost of ownership. I’ve had to do some repairs that may not have been required on a Japanese quad, but this one new cost less than 1/5th that of a comprable Japanese model.
If you’re thinking about one for your kid, and as long as he/she doesn’t abuse machinery, and you’re able to wrench a little–you’ll be saving a whole lot of money this way. Bottom line–they’re not bad for what they are, and what they cost.
