This was just done on a whim, when I watched some punk rip rubber down the street in a Lex SUV. Food prices. Gas prices. No insurance. Freebies for the irresponsible. Rents. Cellphones. Even in BREAD! Everything is ridiculous high! Average Joe cant live nomore!! Its impossible to be able to make ends meet on the basic salary of today, even for a skilled worker. Im single, no kids, and no woman for the time. Still trying to make it is OUT of my OWN budget? Cuts need to be made people. Sacrfifices and bailouts by the govt., to save the middle man or lower-middle even, like me,

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski talked with Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) blamed “the auto industry teamed up with big oil” for a lack of increased fuel economy standatds.
Boxer said that lobbying efforts funded by big oil companies and car manufacturers are responsible for blocking legislation that would increase the average miles per gallon requirements for cars sold in the U.S.
Boxer believes that technology allowing higher fuel economy standards already exists. Boxer told Joe Scarborough, “The technologies are here. I mean, I’m driving a hybrid, we get over 50 miles per gallon. They have now the plug-in hybrid which is going to get 150 gallon miles a gallon.”
